Description from the seller
Superb large antique wall mirror, crafted in openwork gilded brass and decorated with six relief medallions depicting ancient profiles of the Roman imperial type, in the style of neoclassical cameos.
This mirror dates from the period around 1900-1950.
The quality of execution – finely cut and stamped solid brass, hammered copper back, and original mounting system – attests to a high-level artisanal craftsmanship, intended for bourgeois interiors and private mansions.
