Game piece

A rare set of 4 antique lawn bowls.
The two black ones manufactured by Peter Boardman in Bolton, England.
The bowls are made of solid wood.
In the middle of each bowl lies an original ivory disc, a hallmark of high-quality 19th-century English bowls.
The undersides feature twisted circular decorations and bear brand and size codes.
The subtle asymmetric form (bias) is clearly present, essential for the game of bowls.
This set shows normal signs of wear and aging, appropriate to its antique character. The ivory discs are intact and original.
