Description from the seller
Set of 3 silver teddy bear spoons – 800 silver – c. 1940–1960
Set of three silver (800/1000) spoons with a decorative teddy bear on the handle, designed as children's/tea spoons. Clearly bearing an 800 hallmark and maker's mark.
Dating: Middle of the 20th century (c. 1940–1960). The teddy bear motif and the silver content are characteristic for continental European presentation silver from the postwar period (Germany/Netherlands/Austria).
Dimensions & weight (overall):
Length: 11 cm
Width of the spoon holder: 3 cm
Weight: about 12 grams
Total weight of the set: approx. 37.30 grams of silver
Condition: good used condition, normal signs of use, no cracks or repairs.
Collectible/investment value:
Appealing for its solid silver, a figurative design, and the fact that it’s a complete set — rarer than individual pieces.
Suitable for collectors of figurine silver, children's silverware, and silver investors.
