Magnificent set of 3 arrowheads. In colored flint, authentic from the Neolithic period.
Coming from the Ténérée region.
Very high-quality tips of a nice size. Very good condition.
Varied shapes in beautiful materials. Very fine retouching showing the dexterity and talent of the prehistoric craftsman. These points are little jewels of goldsmithing.
Beautiful desert patina.
Three different types. A beautiful, large, leaf-like lozenge-shaped point with denticulations on all edges. One with fins and a very fine peduncle, featuring a very thin tip. And the last is a so-called willow leaf foliacée within a very aesthetic zoned flint!
Pieces of beautiful quality and in good condition.
Length: from 3.2 cm to 5 cm.
Origin: Africa, Mali-Ténéré.
The lot comes from an old private collection purchased at an auction.
