Description from the seller
Overview/Conditions
Gorgeous 1999 Boxster in its 2.7 engine with 220 hp and a manual transmission; part of my car collection; the current owner is the third of three owners, all Porsche enthusiasts and over 50 years old at the time of ownership; the car has always been kept in enclosed spaces and driven only in good weather, testimony that the body is rust-free.
Well cared for and always serviced at Porsche centers, I sought it in the same rare color as the car’s presentation, and it is still present with the same color combination in the Porsche Museum.
A car nearing 30 years old, in superb condition for its age.
Bodywork and paint
Original paint with light parking and wear scratches; the paint is glossy but in two spots as shown in the detailed photos (hood and right door) there is a slight blooming of early oxidation... a small scuff on the front bumper on the left side, as highlighted in the detailed photo.
The hood is sound and intact, but above all it presents itself as like new; the rear plastic window is transparent and has no creases or defects due to improper closure; the car is waterproof even with the fabric and the movement of the hood is excellent and functional without problems. The accompanying hard top is shiny and well-fitted on both sides, as well as the glass rear window being healthy and functioning in defrosting.
Soft rubber seals in good condition, windows functioning and intact, chrome parts and lights all in perfect condition.
Technical conditions
The car’s service history shows maintenance always carried out at Porsche centers, and in November 2025 it underwent a service including the replacement of fluids, filters, and windshield wipers at an Italian workshop that specializes in supercars.
The engine and transmission are working perfectly without any problems.
Interior conditions
The upholstery, seats, headlining, dashboard, and door panels are in perfect condition, as are the air conditioning and the optional cruise control that is fitted on this vehicle.
All the elements (radio, fan, windows, indicators, switches) are working perfectly.
Documentation
The car will be provided with its original manuals, three original keys, and the service book with all the various service stamps carried out at Porsche.
The car is sold without a hard top.
The car is visible in Apulia, Italy.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
