Architectural base - 1750-1800 - from anatomical model

Base for a study anatomical model in soft marbleized wood, with legends on handwritten panels on paper applied to the four faces of the prism. Late 18th century.
The four cards feature legends related to the nervous system, the skeleton, a man with exposed nerves, and a human skull, with sequential numbering.
The base certainly housed miniature models intended to show to classes of students the various parts of the body's systems for study.
Currently (as before) ideal for housing a skull or other memento mori-themed elements, but in general perfect inside a wunderkammer as a base for any object.
Some cards show signs of wear. One in particular is torn just below the middle.
An object of great charm and flavor, extremely versatile.
