Description from the seller
History / Overview
Mini British Open MPI 1.3 Sportpack 63hp XN 3.2 from 1999, delivered for the first time in Germany, where it has remained as of October 2025.
It has had two previous owners, it is still in German documents, and it does not have classic car certification because it has not yet reached 30 years.
There is still the possibility of ASI membership if they stay on Italian territory.
The car is a matching-number, matching-color vehicle. It comes in glossy black with black leather interior.
This is an XN 3.2 model as listed in the registration, i.e., an original factory Sportpack package, with an electric sunroof/convertible roof.
It will be provided with the car, a second new original hood should the new owner wish to replace it even if not necessary.
The car is original in every part, including the four front headlights.
There is the service history that certifies the mileage (photos attached), with the latest service in September 2023 and the TÜV inspection in July 2025.
Featuring double keys with dual remote controls.
BODYWORK/PAINTWORK:
The car is in excellent bodywork condition and requires no paintwork. It has always been kept indoors, always stored in a garage, and shows no corrosion or rust.
The car's chrome trim is perfect, with not the slightest trace of corrosion.
At the generally critical points of this model, the car is in perfect condition with no rust issues.
Mechanics
The car was driven on the road for 1,500 km non-stop.
It is in perfect mechanical condition, has no oil leaks, and does not require any work on the transmission or the clutch, nor a service.
The tires are in good condition.
The brakes are perfectly efficient. The only potential embellishment, even if not necessary, would be replacing the exhaust/muffler with a central or side exhaust, dual, even if not original to the model.
The vehicle has completed all service intervals and all TÜV inspections, with the sequence visible in the maintenance logbook attached in the photo.
Internal
The interior is made of genuine black leather, original to the car itself, in excellent condition, without tears, showing normal wear for its age.
The outline of the sky shows no tears, nor signs of giving way.
The under-hood is excellent.
The hood is the original one, but a second new black hood will also be provided with the car.
The burl wood is original to it and has been restored by the previous owner, as have the trims around the front and rear doors.
The steering wheel is the original one with airbag, featuring a burl wood crescent, original to the model and perfect.
The convertible top is in perfect working order, as is the entire electrical system and the car stereo.
Documentation
German documents included.
Car visible in Prato, Italy.
The seller is willing to arrange transport or delivery across Europe. Cost to be agreed.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
