Traditional Gurkha Knife (Kukri) – One-Piece Forged Steel Blade – Bone Handle – Display Stand

Lot description
Traditional Gurkha knife, commonly known as a kukri, featuring the distinctive forward-curved blade associated with Nepalese tradition. Today, this type of knife is mainly appreciated as a collectible and display object.
The blade is forged from a single piece of steel, providing strength and structural continuity. The knife is fitted with a bone handle secured by metal rivets and is accompanied by its original scabbard, covered in natural hide with hair. A wooden display stand is included.

The Gurkhas are soldiers originating from Nepal, historically known for their service and bravery. Since the 19th century, Gurkha regiments have been closely associated with the British Army, where they served as elite troops. The kukri has traditionally been linked to them as both a practical tool and a cultural symbol.
