Digoin - Coaster - Earthenware

Rare and decorative Art Deco coaster or small presentation dish, manufactured by Digoin in France, circa the 1920s–1930s.

The piece is executed in a characteristic emerald-green glaze, with a geometric relief pattern reminiscent of woven or architectural motifs—typical of the Art Deco style. The octagonal shape, clean lines and raised feet give the object a distinctly modernist character.

The rim and feet are finely finished with gold-colored accents, creating an elegant contrast with the deep green. On the underside is stamped the “FRANCE” mark and an atelier/model marking, in keeping with Digoin productions from this period.

Good vintage condition. Some light signs of use and minimal wear to the gold edge, appropriate for age and use. No cracks or restorations observed. 21 cm wide, 3 cm high.
