Satyr with Frog, a glazed porcelain figurine by Lladró of Spain, designed by Juan Huerta and dated ca. 1960–1963, measuring 24 cm high, 20 cm wide, 12 cm deep and weighing 1.4 kg, in as-new condition.

Satyr with Frog – glazed porcelain figurine, Lladró, Spain, circa 1960.

This glazed porcelain figurine from Lladró, titled Satyr with Frog (Spanish name: Satiro Sentado Con Rana), depicts a seated satyr holding a pan flute to its mouth. At his feet sits a small frog. The scene refers to classic mythological themes surrounding nature, music, and the boundary between human and animal.
The figurine was designed by Juan Huerta and belongs to Lladró's early production from the 1970s. The glossy finish highlights the flowing forms and the sober color palette that are characteristic of this period.
Issued in 1971 and produced until 1975, under item number 01001093. The underside bears an impressed Lladró mark that was used in the period 1965–1970.
Height approx. 24 cm; the figurine is in good condition with light signs of wear consistent with its age and material.
