Description from the seller

Elegant hand-painted polychrome porcelain figurine, produced by the renowned Sitzendorf Porcelain Manufactory (Thuringia, Germany), active since the 19th century and renowned for the quality of its figures inspired by Meissen.
The hand-painted details and vivid colors bear witness to the refined craftsmanship of Sitzendorf production from the late nineteenth century to the early twentieth century.

Founded by Wilhem Liebmann in 1850, the company was nearly destroyed by a fire in 1858, so he decided to withdraw. Alfred and Carl Wilhelm Voigt became co-presidents and rebuilt the factory. In 1896, the company became a limited liability company with a shareholding of one million marks. The principal shareholder was Albert Schönau.
It was her initial 'S' that in 1902 became part of the Sitzendorfer brand 'Crown over S'.
EXCELLENT CONDITION, shipment handled with care and securely
