Wooden mantel clock with Westminster chime, featuring a classic mid 20th century design.

The clock is housed in a solid wooden case with a warm, polished finish, stepped base, no damage - slight signs of aging, and a decorative brass carry handle to the top. The front door is glazed, allowing a clear view of the dial.

The dial is fitted with Roman numerals, ornate pierced hands, and decorative spandrels to each corner. Three winding arbors are present, indicating a time, strike, and Westminster chime movement.
Inside, the clock is fitted with a brass, spring-driven movement with a decorative, engine-turned back plate. It strikes the Westminster melody on the quarter hours, with an hour strike on the hour. The movement is accessed via the hinged front door. The original pendulum and winding key are included.
