Description from the seller

English fall-front bureau from the late 19th / early 20th century, made in fine solid mahogany, a refined example of high-level British cabinetmaking.

The piece is solid and well-balanced, enriched by elegant original brass handles. All locks are branded, a rare and sought-after detail that testifies to the craftsmanship of the era. The writing surface features a drop-front in perfect condition, supported by two sturdy extendable bars that work perfectly. Inside there is a well-organized compartment with a central drawer and numerous compartments for documents and correspondence. It should be noted only that the leather on the writing surface is missing.

Overall conditions are excellent; the structure is sound and functional.

Seller's Story

I have always been passionate about our past, knowing it is the only thing that does not cease the connection between what is and what was. When I reached the right age I understood that my passion had to coincide with my work and so I opened a business. The key principles are quality and love towards the customer. Francesco Secondo
