When the pharmacist monks of the Carthusian Abbey of Chartreuse invented the Chartreuse Verte liqueur, they were probably looking for the elixir of life!

A meticulous research work on the typology and healing properties of over 130 different types of aromatic and medicinal plants, on their drying and distillation methods, could, in fact, only have arisen within a Charterhouse.

Over 10 years of aging in oak and distillation in seven centuries-old copper stills give life to Chartreuse Verte, a unique and inimitable liqueur.

Considered not only an excellent digestive but also a perfect ingredient for the preparation of multiple cocktails.

Color: Bright green
Taste: It releases intense and characteristic hints of aromatic herbs, flowers, spices and a touch of honey. Soft, warm, smooth and moderately sweet, it finishes persistently with pleasant bitter notes.
