Alarm clock - Bayard Space Age Plastic - 1960-1970 - Bold spherical design

Bayard Spherical Alarm Clock – Space Age – Manual Wind Vintage Bayard alarm clock with spherical design in true Space Age style, dating from the 1960s–1970s. A distinctive and well-balanced object combining bold colours with compact, sculptural proportions.
The case features a yellow plastic shell with silver metallic insert and a red top snooze button, seamlessly integrated into the spherical form.
The front is fitted with a domed transparent plastic (acrylic) crystal, consistent with period manufacturing techniques.
The white dial, signed Bayard, is fitted with blue applied Arabic numerals and blue hands with luminous inserts, offering excellent legibility and strong visual contrast.
Inside is a mechanical manual-wind movement with 1-day duration, equipped with separate mainsprings for timekeeping and alarm, as visible in the photographs of the movement.

The item is in original, unrestored condition.
