Tchubi: Khal Mohammadi and Afghan Aqche are two of the most popular types of Afghan carpets. Khal Mohammadi are hand-woven carpets by the Turkmens of northern Afghanistan. Their main colors are dark red tones in various shades. The motifs include the göl (a pattern resembling an elephant's foot) and the octagon (an eight-sided figure), often accompanied by stylized flowers in dark blue, ochre, and beige tones. Afghan carpets are hand-woven by the Turkmens of central and northern Afghanistan.
