Elegant pair of blown glass sculptures made using the sommerso technique (layers of colored glass "submerged" in clear crystal), typical of Murano glass art in Italy.
Multilayer glass with deep and luminous gradients: intense blue, turquoise, green and yellow/orange, all enclosed in a transparent outer layer. Elongated teardrop shape, balanced, base slightly flattened and polished, creating a superb depth and reflections effect depending on the light.

These multicolored sommerso teardrop shapes are emblematic of Murano production in the 1970s, inspired by the great masters and workshops of the era (such as those exploring Flavio Poli styles for Seguso Vetri d'Arte or other similar manufacturers). Probably Murano (Italy), though unsigned (common on many pieces from this period and this technique, where signatures are not systematic). The quality of the blowing, the substantial weight, the purity of the layers and the finish indicate high-end Italian artisanal craftsmanship. True connoisseurs will recognize the brand.
