Celadon stoneware vase with a crackled glaze dating to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), a hammer-form vase with two fish-dragon handles, dimensions 22 x 10 x 8 cm, in good condition, acquired from the Maison de vente aux enchères in France in 2024.

Crackle-glazed celadon stoneware vase from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644)
Chinese celadon mallet-shaped vase with two fish-dragon shaped handles, made during the Yuan-Ming dynasty according to the Song Longquan celadon type.
Céladon production undoubtedly reached its peak during the Song dynasty, which subsequent generations have attempted to recreate.
Ancient Japanese restoration using Kintsugi on a fish tail at the neck of the vase.
No other restoration has been carried out.
