Silver Cup with Portrait of Ferdinand – Early 20th Century
This elegant antique silver cup features a finely applied portrait of Ferdinand on one side and a heraldic shield on the opposite side. The cup is crafted from 900 silver, while it is important to note that both the portrait and the coat of arms are made of pewter, not silver.
The piece has a classic tapered form with a decorative handle and a gilt interior, typical for presentation or commemorative cups from the late 19th to early 20th century. The bottom is stamped “900”, confirming the silver fineness.
