North Dutch toog cabinet. Friesland or Groningen. That can be seen in the carving work of the togs in the doors. A combination of anemone and acanthus motifs.

What is very special and rare are the ceramic globe feet. Those are only found on North Dutch cabinets. Because the globe feet are ceramic, they could stand on quarry tile floors that were often scrubbed.

The panels in the doors are quarter-sawn. This gives that beautiful tiger-striped effect in the grain. In the stiles and on the rails we see small narrow panels inlaid with walnut wood. The lock and key are original.
