Piromorphite from Sardinia, originating from the old mines of Donori and Arbus.
Four specimens now very rare due to the cessation of extraction activities.
As shown in the last photo, numbered from 1 to 4, the exact characteristics of the samples are described.
1) Donori, 185 g, 9x8x7 cm, colors still bright and vivid.
2) Donori, 95 g, 10x6x4 cm, completely covered on all sides, well exposed on its own adhesive base.
3) Arbus mines, 400 g, 13x9x8 cm, large specimen with a coating of pyromorphite on silver-bearing galena and quartz.
Montevecchio, 250 grams, 9x8x6 cm, on this specimen as well, the green piromorphite covers the galena, giving it rare characteristics.
This collection is very rare and important for enriching your showcase with colorful specimens that are now hard to find.
