Art Nouveau silver-plated coffee and tea set by Albert Lindström, Eskilstuna, Sweden, dating 1900–1915, total weight 925 g, comprising a coffee pot, sugar bowl and creamer.
Description from the seller
A beautiful antique Art Nouveau (Jugend) silver-plated coffee and tea set that was produced between 1900 and 1915, made by Albert Lindström in Eskilstuna, Sweden. The workshop was active from 1878.
The set features a wonderful Jugend design with a ribbed upper body that flows into a smooth, bulbous base.
All three pieces stand on four paw-shaped feet with a clear Baroque influence. The bright silver surface is beautifully complemented by the gold-washed interior of the sugar bowl and creamer, creating a luxurious contrast.
Condition:
All three pieces are in beautiful condition. The surfaces are clean and shiny with only very light surface wear. The coffee pot spout is slightly bent at the edge, but this is minor and does not affect use or overall appearance. The set presents extremely well.
All pieces are marked on the base: A.B. Lindström, Eskilstuna.
Set includes one big pot, a sugar bowl, and a creamer.
Measurements:
Coffee pot: H 26.5 cm, W 23 cm, D approx. 12 cm
