Antique Victorian sofa / settee and chair – circa late 19th century.
Beautiful antique sofa and chair from the late 19th century, made of solid wood with richly carved details. The sofa and chair are upholstered with a tufted velvet fabric in a warm gold/ochre color, which gives them an elegant and classical appearance. The gracefully curved backrest and armrests are characteristic of the Victorian style.
The wooden frame is finely finished with decorative ornaments on the top and cabriole legs. The sofa and chair stand on small wheels on the front legs, which was common at the time.
