Description from the seller
Ascan Scandia / DSB – Original Railway Engineering Drawings – Denmark – Late 19th / 20th Century
A rare set of original Danish railway engineering drawings, produced by Ascan Scandia (Randers, Denmark) in cooperation with OCE and related to DSB (Danish State Railways) rolling stock and locomotives.
The lot includes large-format technical blueprints and presentation drawings showing detailed side elevations, cross-sections, measurements and construction details of railway carriages and locomotives. One drawing is clearly titled “Kongevogn” (Royal Carriage), Class Sa 36–8, with dated references including Copenhagen, August 1899, indicating historical documentation rather than modern reproductions.
Also included is a DSB illustrated poster titled “En del af Danmark”, showing multiple Danish locomotives and rolling stock, adding visual and historical context to the technical material.
These drawings originate from one of Denmark’s most important industrial manufacturers and are of high interest to collectors of railway history, industrial design and Scandinavian engineering heritage.
