Pioneer - CT-800 Cassette recorder-player

The tape recorder has been completely renovated. All the drive belts and idler rubbers in the mechanics have been replaced. All the switches in the electronics have been cleaned, treated with special materials that prevent corrosion, provide lubrication, and improve conductivity, cleaned, and renovated. It now works very well, just like it did almost 48 years ago.

"A stereo cassette deck with a new swing lever.

A new electronic swing lever is adopted as the operation method.
By using an electronic system, direct change is possible, so quick operation is possible.

A 2-motor system is used for the drive part.
A PLL servo motor is used for constant-speed drive to ensure high rotational accuracy by controlling the rotational speed with phase difference based on a reference signal from a highly accurate oscillator, and a DC torque motor is used for rapid feed.

Equipped with CrO2 automatic switching mechanism.

It uses a bias adjustment mechanism and display meter to select recording bias suitable for tape characteristics.

Equipped with an auto-repeat mechanism, repeated playback is possible.

Equipped with a wide-range meter that can switch between peak and VU.

The Dolby System is installed as a noise reduction system.

Equipped with an MPX filter release function.
