Story
Elegant wall-regulator clock produced by the German manufacturer Wiederhold, based in the Black Forest and specializing in high-quality mechanical clocks from the late 19th to the early 20th century.
The dark wooden chest features rich decoration with inlaid columns and gilded floral motifs, topped by turned elements typical of German/Mitteleuropean style of the period.
Enamel dial with Roman numerals and a double winding hole for a mechanical chiming movement. The lower, visible section features the original pendulum and an additional indicator for regulating the chime.
