Brand Kodak, Model No. 3A folding pocket camera, physical condition very good and functional (tested and working), dating to 1930–1940.
Description from the seller
For sale: Kodak 3A Folding Pocket (model 1910), a classic American large-format bellows camera, known for producing postcard-size negatives (postcards) that were highly appreciated at the time. The body is imposing and clad in black leather, with red leather bellows (maroon bellows) typical of Kodak's premium editions from the early 1900s, which gives it a highly sought-after aesthetic among collectors.
on the front is mounted the Kodak shutter with exposed mechanisms and brass and black finishes, complete with gold lettering and manual adjustments, while the folding frame is sturdy and well preserved. the technical data sheet describes generally good conditions: camera body very good, shutter and mechanical movements functioning, the lens with clean glass, but notes a defect in the bellows ("noticeable, a small hole"), to be considered for potential use or restoration.
This model represents a standard of advanced amateur photography from the 1910s, combining portability (for the era) with large-format negatives, and it is a piece of American photography history with a clearly striking visual impact. Included is the Kodak 3A Folding Pocket Camera, as shown in the images.
