A single-volume French book titled Lettre signée, autographed by the Comte d'Argenson (Louis XV), dating from 1749, in very good condition.
Description from the seller
Very fine, signed by Marc-Pierre de Voyer de Paulmy, comte d'Argenson, French statesman, Minister of State (1742) and Secretary of State for War of Louis XV from January 1743 to February 1757.
I read with great pleasure, sir, the cavalry development plan that you took the trouble to send me, of which I had already seen the draft. You treat this matter with as much precision as insight, and I can only urge you to continue to devote yourself to it as usefully as you have been doing.
Very good condition
