Renée Jacobs continues her intimate and profoundly feminist investigation of the body, sensuality, and identity. The photographs portray women captured in moments of authentic and vulnerable presence, far from constructed poses or stereotypes, in a delicate balance between strength, desire, and intimacy. Polaroids is often considered one of the artist's most overtly erotic works, while maintaining great formal and emotional refinement.
