AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

A fine Diwan manuscript page from the most famous Sufi poet, Hafez dated AH120, which translates to 1708/9. The page has been recovered from a largely damaged manuscript. This folio is in very good condition with no signs of damage and little wear, with gifted gold framing and gilded panels. It is written in black nasta'liq calligraphy, with the wording separated by pillows of god gilt. This is a good example of the finer editions of the Dewan, with a very attractive layout of blue cartouches dividing the folio. This would make a very fine addition to any collection of poetic manuscripts of Hafez.

Loosely translated the right columns express their love for Muhammad and poetic symbology equating flowers and seasons with and love and friendship. The left column describes how a restless heart may find peace through grace and love.
