Large Alpine shepherds' bell dating from 1850–1900, made of bronze and brass with a linen strap, in an antique style.

Switzerland / Tyrol • circa 1820–1870 • original collector's item.
A unique, fully authentic Alpine shepherd's bell of the TREICHEL type – the largest and most important bell in the herd, used to drive cattle in the mountains. A specimen with a beautiful, deep, and sonorous tone, preserved in excellent, historical patina.
A 100% original handcrafted product from the 19th century.
• hand-hammered copper-brass sheet
• dogs, massive baton
• embossed Alpine motif (rosette / edelweiss)
• original leather belt with a hand-woven wool strap
• a deep, long, and pure sound – typical of the herd’s guiding bells
• natural, noble patina – without modern interventions.
Dial about a height of approximately 20 cm, width approximately 22 cm, depth approximately 13 cm, weight over 2 kg.
