AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

A beautiful and fully intact antique Chinese porcelain perfume bottle from the Kangxi period (1662-1722).

PORCELAIN:
The bottle has an elegant baluster-shaped form and is decorated all around with a very refined hand-painted river landscape. The scene features pagodas, mountains, trees and rock formations in varying shades of underglaze blue. The painting is of high quality, with a great depth and fine details.

Silver mounting:
Equipped with an original Dutch silver frame featuring a finely worked cap. The silver carries a master mark (initials visible at the rim; see detail photo). It is a cap without a hinge (screw-on or clamping cap). The cap is currently fixed by age and oxidation; to preserve the integrity of the antique silver and porcelain, the cap has not been forcibly opened.

Condition
- Porcelain: In excellent condition. Completely intact, NO cracks, NO chips, and NO restorations.
- Silver: In very good condition, firmly attached and richly decorated.
- A rare specimen in this pristine, mint condition.
