Art Nouveau vase by Pallme-König & Habel from Bohemia, circa 1900–1905, made of iridescent glass with the Venoso motif, height 27 cm and width about 11 cm, in good condition with minor signs of aging and small stains.
Description from the seller
Pallme-König – Large Art Nouveau vase in iridescent glass with vein pattern – ca. 1900–1905
Height: 27 cm · Width: 10.5 cm
An extraordinary glass vase with multiple layers, melted and bent, with an organic and elegant silhouette and a softly flaring opening. The piece stands out for its stunning iridescent, pearlescent luster, reflecting gold, blue, green and purple when light strikes it—a characteristic effect of Bohemian productions from the early 20th century.
The exterior decoration corresponds to the famous motif 'Venoso', formed by hot-worked glass threads that follow the body in graceful patterns. This treatment, associated with the renowned manufactory Pallme-König & Habel (Kosten, Bohemia), is characteristic of Central European Art Nouveau.
Very good state of preservation, with the iridescence that is particularly well preserved.
Photos are part of the description. Will be carefully packaged, shipped insured, and with a tracking code to your home. We do not ship outside the EU or to (island) countries with special customs regulations.
I will be absent from January 24 to 31. Items sold during this week can only be shipped from February 1.
