Marble and bronze five-light candelabrum – Italy, circa 1920–1960
Imposing and refined five-light candelabrum made of white marble and bronze (possibly originally gilded). Executed in an elegant Neoclassical/Empire style, characteristic of luxurious Italian decorative art from the 20th century.
The candelabrum features finely molded winged Putti (cherubs) that serve as decorative handles, paired with refined floral and foliate motifs. The detailing, choice of materials, and weight point to solid craftsmanship.
Marked on the underside 'Brevettato Italy', which indicates a registered design and Italian origin.
