I’m looking at these photos. Old photos, taken at the end of the sixties in Hamburg and Stockholm. They bring back memories of family ties, fear, an unflinching curiosity, and our solidarity. Photography was rarely at the center of concerns. What mattered then was meeting people and exploring other realities. That’s still the case. Today, I look at these photos with a different eye. They connect the past and the present. The questions I had then are still relevant. I recognize them, even if the answers no longer carry the same weight." – Anders Petersen.
