Jumo model 610 V1 vintage metal desk lamp from France, in good working condition with a mid-century modern design, height 48 cm, width 15 cm, depth 30 cm, dating to 1940–1950.

Rare vintage desk lamp from the French brand JUMO, model 610 V1.
The French lighting company was founded in the 1940s by Yves JUjeau and Pierre and André MOunique. The first two letters of both names together form JUMO. According to other sources, JUMO comes from "Juvenile et Moderne", which reflects the brand's vision: youthful, modern designs that are both functional and stylish. This model/version is quite rare.
The lamp is in good working order. A few small imperfections. The base does show some aging 'patina'. Furthermore, the lamp is very practical and can be set in almost any position thanks to the swiveling joints.
Often attributed to Charlotte Perriand but not proven beyond a doubt.
