Liquor cabinet - Oak - Tantalus

Beautiful antique Edwardian tantalus of fine quality. Dating from the early 1900s to 1920.

Made from solid oak with a beautiful warm color. Finished with heavy brass (copper) fittings on the corners and a sturdy, graceful carrying handle.

The key, which unlocks the top and the bracket, is located at the side and provides access to three nice carafes. You can therefore lock the bottles. It is not the original lock.

The object is named after Tantalus from Greek mythology, who was punished with eternal hunger and thirst, with food and drink just out of reach.
