Description from the seller

Top left: Virgin “Stolp” / “Stolpnaya” (Столпная)

It is distinguished by the inscription that seems to say “СТОЛП…” and by the way the Child is held.

Top right: The Tikhvin Virgin (Тихвинская)

Hodegetria type (the Mother points to Christ), with the Child supported and the characteristic gesture.

Bottom left: Virgin “Sovereign / Derzhavnaya” (Державная)

It is clearly visible because both wear a crown (the Mother and the Child), which is the most typical feature of this devotion.

Bottom right: Virgin “Vzygranie / Vzygranie Mladentsa” (Vzygranie mladentsa)

It is the figure of the Child 'playing' or embracing the Mother, with a very affectionate gesture (similar to 'Eleusa', but with the liveliness of the Child).

A certificate of authenticity is issued, endorsed by the Ministry of Culture of Estonia.
