A 100-year-old political and economic globe from Columbus Verlag Berlin Lichterfelde, dating from about 1925. Including, among others, the Chinese Empire and the Great Wall, the Russian Empire, trade routes, shipping routes, the Dutch East Indies, Congo, etc. The globe was edited by W. Bockisch, Dr. R. Neuse and C. Luther and originates from the pre-war Columbus Globe factory in Berlin, founded by Peter J. Oestergaard. Mahogany base with a small compass and a metal meridian.
