- Grade: MS62 (NGC).
Brass coin with its characteristic beaded edge, issued after the proclamation of the Republic of the Maldives. The obverse shows the face value in large size, accompanied by elegant Arabic calligraphy with a flowing stroke, featuring well-defined relief and broad fields. The reverse presents a symbolic ensemble consisting of a palm tree, crescent and star, flanked by national flags, in a sober and balanced style, together with the double Islamic and Gregorian dating. Uncirculated specimen, with visible original luster, a slight uniform golden patina, and scarce contact marks typical of minting, offering a very attractive and well-preserved presentation.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to make it absolutely clear that I ship from Spain. This means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside the EU that has a special tax agreement (for example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs, and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and is completely out of our control. Thank you for your understanding.
