AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Elegant French pressed-glass Art Deco bowl designed by André Hunebelle, executed in opalescent (opaline) glass with a cool blue-white glow. The bowl features a wide, shallow, cup-form with a strongly geometric facet decorative relief, a radially outward 'starburst' pattern around the circumference with elongated triangular rays running from the center to the edge. The rim is lightly thickened and smoothly polished, giving the opal glass a subtle light band.
The bowl stands on a low, round foot ring; the underside likewise shows a stylized, symmetrical facet structure.

The piece is unsigned, as is often the case with pressed glass from this period. However, the form and the decoration closely align with the designs of André Hunebelle. There are also marked bowls from this series that are known and documented.

Diameter 30 cm - weight 1.8 kg. in excellent gift-ready condition.
