Microscope produced by the historic Milan-based firm Fratelli Koristka S.A., a leading company in Italy in the production of precision optical instruments between the late 19th and the early 20th century.
Founded in 1881 by Francesco Koristka, the company distinguished itself for the high quality of its instruments, also the result of a collaboration with Ernst Abbe and Zeiss for the use of patents and the production of innovative lenses.
This particular model features a sturdy brass construction. It is a collectible piece that combines the charm of antique scientific instrumentation with the Italian engineering precision of the era.
