Description from the seller

Set of two superb footed coupe-and-confiserie bowls in clear pressed-mold glass, of unknown Belgian origin, in a 1950s–1960s style (typical technique of Belgian productions of the era: glass pressed into a mold for the general shape, then hand-cut for the dense, radiating diamond motifs, with no mark or signature).

Elegant and imposing pieces, with a generous shape and a wide, flared, festooned cup (edge scalloped and wavy with multiple lobes), a conical flared stem molded and cut. Both feature a central motif of a radiant sun/starburst rosette at the bottom of the cup, and a deep diamond- and lozenge-pattern covering the entire surface for an exceptional multi-faceted sparkling effect.

Top cut (deeper):
- Total height: 17 cm
- Top diameter (cut) : 21 cm
Foot diameter: 13 cm
Weight: 1250 g

Lower cut (less deep, wider bowl):
Total height: 18 cm
- Maximum width (cut): 23.5 cm
Weight: 1250 g

The two pieces have exactly the same weight despite the difference in shape and depth of the bowl (wider but shallower for the second, which balances the mass). High-quality clear pressed glass, intense brilliance, changing reflections, and regular, deep cutting.

Condition: good to very good for vintage pieces. Shine and clarity intact on both. Just a small, very discreet chip on the base of the more flared piece. The rest shows no chips, cracks, or visible breaks. Light signs of wear normal for age (superficial micro-scratches on the base or edges, with no aesthetic impact).

Provenance: Belgian private collection, exact origin unknown.

Secure shipment with professional packaging suitable for fragile glass objects.

Elegant and decorative lot for collectors of vintage Belgian pressed glass from the 1950s–1960s, mid-century cut glassware, diamond-cut festooned coupe glasses, or postwar pieces. The two coupes complement each other perfectly with their identical motif and their imposing presence – ideal for a display cabinet, a centerpiece, or a themed collection. Sparkling and substantial pieces thanks to their high weight and generous size.

Elegant and imposing pieces, generous shape with wide flared scalloped bowl (multi-lobed wavy rim), conical flared foot moulded and cut. Both feature a central radiating sunburst / star rosette motif at the bowl base, and deep diamond/lozenge cutting covering the entire surface for an exceptional multi-faceted sparkling effect.

Lower compote (shallower, wider bowl):
