English silver-plated spirit kettle with stand and burner.
Magnificent and complete English spirit kettle in silvered metal, manufactured in Sheffield around 1900 (late Victorian / Edwardian period).
The teapot features an elegant ribbed body, a gracefully shaped pouring spout, and an original handle with an insulating grip.
The boiler rests on its accompanying original stand with chains and is equipped with the accompanying spirit burner, which makes the whole thing distinctive and collectible.
On the underside of the teapot, it is marked 'Hard Soldered', which indicates a high-quality Sheffield electroplating.
The designation 1.25 indicates a good thickness of silver plating.
The number in question refers to a model or production number.
Condition
In good antique condition, with normal signs of use and aging appropriate to its age. Light surface patina and small signs of wear present, but no dents or structural damage.
It was recently lightly polished.
The inside of the boiler shows light signs of oxidation.
