Description from the seller

Collection of 6 antique roasting forks, probably dating back to the 18th or 19th century.
The set includes meat forks and carving forks with various handle and tine designs, as well as a honing steel for sharpening knives.

Acciaini: the tool on the far left is a steel knife sharpener with a black wooden handle and a metal hanging ring.

Meat/roast forks: the collection comprises a variety of forks, the majority of which have two tines, historically used to spear and serve meats and roasts or boiled dishes.

Materials: the tines and the shaft are made of hand-forged iron, while the handles vary, including black wood (ebony), light wood, and iron.

Ancient serving fork with a lever on the underside, a swinging arm or 'wrist rest' that also served as protection for the fingers, preventing them from slipping toward the tines during use.

Measurements: longest 35.5 cm - shortest 25.5 cm - total weight 750 grams.
