Description from the seller
G.E.I. table lamp (Industrial Studies Office) — Space Age design, inspired by FASE Falux — vintage
Attractive table lamp signed G.E.I. (Industrial Studies Office), the firm that obtained a license to produce FASE models. This piece reproduces the aesthetic of the renowned FASE Falux, integrating the same formal idea with a distinctly Space Age interpretation: aerodynamic lines, fluid geometry, and a sculptural architecture that alludes to the futuristic and technological vision of the 1960s–1970s.
The base is made of lacquered metal in gray, topped with a brushed aluminum shade that houses a flat glass diffuser—the original diffuser. The shade contains four E14 bulb holders and features two upper switches that allow independent control of two lighting circuits (two sets of lamps). The shade is fully adjustable 360º via a ball joint, offering great versatility in light direction; its silhouette explicitly recalls the design created for the FASE Falux.
Brand: G.E.I. (Industrial Studies Office) — FASE license
Style: Space Age / vintage industrial design
Materials: lacquered metal (base) and brushed aluminum (shade); original flat glass diffuser.
Lamp holder: 4 × E14
Functionality: fully operational (all original elements)
Mechanism: 360º adjustable screen via ball joint; two independent switches on the top.
Condition: vintage item in good working order with all original components. It shows typical signs of use and age; specifically, the screen has two minor aesthetic touches (see photographs). For safety and regulatory reasons, we recommend that the wiring and plug be inspected by an electrician before continued use.
Notes for buyers: an excellent piece for collectors of industrial design and Space Age enthusiasts; shape, materials, and technical solutions reflect the typology of desk lamps inspired by FASE. The photographs are part of the description: please review them carefully.
