Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Akai stereo audio set consisting of the AM-2400 integrated amplifier and AT-2450 tuner, manufactured in 1979, in very good physical condition and tested and functional.
Description from the seller
Vintage Akai stereo audio system. High gain.
Checked and fully operational.
The amplifier sounds phenomenal.
Additionally, it's built like a tank.
With a nominal power of 40 W per channel, which is just the minimum, it would be around 50 W per channel or more.
Akai gave them a low power output, which leaves room if you need more power.
80 watts of pure power !!!!
Capable of driving speakers rated at more than 150 watts into an 8-ohm load without any problem.
This amplifier has a very full sound and solid bass.
And what can I say about the tuner — classic style, and the sound is rich and full. The dials and switches have a professional feel.
The photos are part of the description.
The team is composed of two separate units.
Tuner: The top model is the Akai AT-2450 FM/AM stereo tuner. The lights were changed to green LEDs, making it look stunning in the dark.
The lower model is the Akai AM-2400 integrated stereo amplifier.
Both devices were manufactured by Akai in the late 1970s to early 1980s.
