Unique pair of mid-century ceramic serving bowls
Signed Ross Art – very rare and sought after by collectors of vintage nautical decor.
Description:
Beautiful oval, flat bowls with a deep blue glaze and black speckles (speckled effect) that give an oceanic depth. Each bowl features an impressive embossed fish motif in a 3D style: one with a long sport fish (marlin/sailfish style).
One with a broader tropical fish (mahi-mahi-like)
Ideal as a serving bowl for fish or seafood, as a decorative wall plaque or eye-catcher in a coastal/man cave interior. Typical of the 1970s–1980s.
Dimensions per scale: 48 × 20 × 4 cm (approx. 19 × 8 inches)
Condition: Excellent vintage – no chips or cracks visible on the top, minimal signs of use.
