Origin: Italy; Organza di ciniglia curtains in polyester, two pieces, 140 cm wide by 600 cm long, in like-new condition.
Description from the seller
2 pieces measuring 300 x 140 cm
A chenille organza for curtains, three meters high, stands out for a light yet refined presence, where transparency and texture converse in a refined way.
The organza remains airy and luminous, but is enhanced by chenille, which introduces a soft, velvety texture perceptible to sight and touch. The result is an impalpable fabric but not ethereal, capable of filtering light to create depth and movement.
Lead-based paint acts as a discreet and sophisticated base, slightly smoky, that softens and harmonizes the colors layered over it. On this background, vertical bands in apricot and orange tones emerge, warm and luminous, slightly overprinted: the bands are never sharp or rigid, but intersect with delicacy, generating color glazes and soft tonal transitions, almost painterly.
The verticality of the bands visually elongates the curtains, enhancing the height of the window frames, while the overlapping colors create ever-changing plays of light depending on the time of day. In backlight, the apricot becomes lighter and rosier, the orange more vibrant but never aggressive, tempered by the gray base.
Overall, it is a fabric of great contemporary elegance, ideal for bright, well-kept spaces, where one desires decorative, light, and refined drapery that can add warmth without weighing down the space.
