Pre‑Columbian stirrup vessel from the North Coast of Peru, attributed to the Moche culture, dating to approximately 1000–1400 CE.
This classic form features the characteristic stirrup spout and rounded body, executed in ceramic with brown, red, and orange painted surfaces typical of late Moche and post‑Moche regional styles.

The vessel stands 24 cm high and 14 cm wide, displaying the refined craftsmanship and symbolic visual language associated with North Coast ceramic traditions. Stirrup vessels were often used in ritual or funerary contexts, valued for their durability, controlled pouring function, and expressive painted decoration.
